The Prince Edward Island Rape and Sexual Assault Centre (PEIRSAC) is a community-based, non-profit, government funded organization that provides services to adult and youth survivors of recent or historic childhood sexual abuse, or sexual assault, across Prince Edward Island.
For over twenty-five years, the PEIRSAC has dedicated their skills to providing services such as a 24-hour support line, therapy, and advocacy. They've also provided public education, information lines, advocacy, and accompaniment to the police or hospital upon request. Overall, this supportive group has been a tremendous voice in the fight against sexual assault.
After many years of helping others, they received a helping hand from Fresh Media in the form of new branding, corporate identity package, and a new website. The website was created as an online resource to assist with reaching out to the public to educate, empower, and prevent rape and sexual assault.
